ASHALOY

ASHALOY is an oasis of hope for the commercial sex workers and their minor children in the heart of Kolkata’s largest red light district, Sonagachi. Children receive coaching and holistic care while women receive encouragement to leave their trade and embrace a new way of life.

Children learn moral values and life development lessons which help them to cope with their situation. Additionally, the center provides weekly health check-up, computer lessons, monthly awareness meeting for women and free tuitions for the kids.
